What is online appointment booking?

Online appointment booking lets patients choose a service and a free time slot themselves, from a link, instead of calling the front desk. In Appointment Reminder App the booking page is part of the same calendar your staff use, so a slot booked online can never be double-booked at the desk, and every appointment is reminded the same way whichever route it came in by.

It suits clinics, dental and physiotherapy practices, diagnostic labs with walk-in and home collection, schools booking parent-teacher meetings and real-estate teams booking site visits. Patients book from a link on Google Business Profile, Instagram, a WhatsApp auto-reply or a QR code at the reception desk.

How does the appointment calendar work?

• Providers: each doctor, counter, home-collection team or sales executive has a calendar with working hours per weekday, for example 9:00–13:00 and 16:00–20:00 Monday to Friday.
• Services: each service has a duration, a fee, an optional advance, a preparation note (such as fasting for 10–12 hours) and an optional recall interval.
• Slots: the booking page shows only times that fit the working hours, your minimum notice and booking window, and do not overlap another active appointment.
• Recurring visits: staff can book weekly, fortnightly or monthly series of up to 12 visits, each with its own reminders.
• Day view: the front desk sees each day's appointments with status, last reminder, advance and how the patient confirmed.

Can patients pay when they book?

Yes. Give a service an advance, for example ₹300 for a full-body health package, and the UPI link goes out with the booking confirmation and stays in every reminder until it is paid. Patients who have paid an advance are far less likely to forget the visit, and the advance status shows on the appointment and in the no-show report. Unpaid dues after the visit can follow the UPI payment-recovery ladder.

What about walk-ins, forms and camps?

Walk-ins too: the same calendar runs a clinic token system, so booked patients who check in and walk-in patients share one queue per doctor, with a TV display that calls the next token. Each service can carry a patient registration form that patients fill before the visit, and health camps and group sessions take registrations with seat limits per batch without blocking your regular slots. Doctor leave and holidays close slots on the booking page and list every affected appointment for bulk rescheduling, and a week view shows every doctor side by side.

What does the waitlist do?

Patients who want an earlier slot join the waitlist for a service, a doctor and a date range. When someone cancels, by button, SMS link, AI call or at the desk, Appointment Reminder App offers the freed slot on WhatsApp to the first match. The offer is valid for 30 minutes by default; if it is not taken, the next person on the list is offered the same slot. The calendar updates the moment someone accepts.

Does it work with my existing software?

Yes. If you already use clinic, lab or hospital software, keep it for records and billing. Send upcoming appointments by CSV export, the booking webhook (also used by Zapier, Make and Google Sheets) or the REST API, and subscribe each doctor's calendar in Google Calendar or Outlook. How much does online booking cost?

The calendar and online booking page are included in every plan, from Starter at ₹2,999 a month plus GST, with no per-user fee.
