Frequently asked questions
Is patient data safe on WhatsApp?
Yes, when sent correctly. Appointment Reminder App sends only to patients who opted in, over Meta's encrypted WhatsApp Business Platform, and logs every message. Keep results out of reminder text; secure report delivery with a one-time password is planned.
Can the reminder include fasting instructions?
Yes. Write the preparation note for each test or package into its reminder template. The AI answers follow-up questions, such as whether water is allowed, only from wording your pathologist approves, never replaces medical advice, and hands questions about medicines or results to your staff.
Does it work with my lab information system?
Yes, through the REST API: your LIS can create contacts, send reminder messages and create payment requests in Appointment Reminder App, and receive events back by webhook. Labs without an API can import CSV lists. A ready-made PathLab Software connector is planned.
